On the Road

May 4, 2009

This is the beginning of the adventure. A place where ideas about human interactions can fuse. I chose Justicia because she represents the notions of fairness, balance and social equality, but while my 28 year involvement with the law is behind this blog, legal issues don’t frame it’s purpose.

I’m a father, a lover,  lawyer, a teacher, a singer of songs and a bunch of other things all at the same time. It’s often confusing. I’m stunned by the richness life can offer and perplexed at how often things go awry.  I hope this space will let me bring the divergent ideas that swirl though my life to an audience of folks who will spread them through theirs.

It isn’t the destination that matters so much as the quality of the journey.

Great post, you nailed it. We are nothing without our loved ones.

“It is the journey and not the arrival that matters” – Montaigne.
One of my favorite quotations and really important to remember. We’ll all at some point look back fondly at these tough times. They build the foundations we’ll use for the rest of our lives.
